Analogic technology has been used for many different industrial applications. Our analog-to-digital-converter designs have been applied to interferometry and thermocouple control and have been used in specialized instrumentation for electronics systems, including: - Spectrum analyzers
- Solid-state X-ray generators
- High-speed, CPU-based image processing computers
Our engineering and design expertise can take a product concept rapidly from prototype development to full manufacturing. Motion Control TechnologyCopley Controls servo/stepper drives and controllers can be adapted to a wide range of applications requiring speed, accuracy, and repeatability. Applications for both standard and custom drives include: - Semiconductor wafer handling
- Lithography
- Wire bonding
- Biomedical high-throughput screening
- Test and inspection of LCD displays
Ruggedized versions of standard drives find application in COTS military, marine, aviation, and vehicle-based systems.
Copley is the inventor of the tubular linear motor. Inherently rugged, the Copley motor requires no external encoder and can be used in wash-down environments in the packaging and food and beverage industries. Applications include:
- Tortilla stacking
- Parcel handling
- Printing
- Bottle filling
- Food slicing

The same power amplification technology used in advanced MRI systems can be used for other industrial applications as well. For example, solar inverters use MOSFET and IGBT power amplification technology coupled with a transformer packaged to achieve very high reliability. Analogic can produce highly efficient, reliable inverter systems for commercial solar systems up to 200 kW. Our power technology can also be used for vibration testing systems where different force patterns are required. Covering a range of frequencies from 20 Hz to 2000 Hz, our amplifiers work effectively for sinusoidal, triangle, and pulse waveforms with very high fidelity. | In semiconductor manufacturing applications, our power systems have been used for particle steering magnets in ion implantation for doping of ICs. In this application, large electromagnets sweep beams of ions across the silicon wafers. Our amplifiers provide the high-current output in a master slave configuration required for good uniformity across a 300 mm diameter silicon wafer.
