In the 1970s we were pioneers in computed tomography (CT). Today our CT data acquisition and management systems are used by major medical original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) around the world. Applying the same technology and expertise we use in our medical systems, we develop advanced CT-based airport security systems for fast and accurate image acquisition critical to detecting threats in baggage. Aviation SecurityWe use our medical CT expertise to develop state-of-the-art automatic Explosives Detection Systems (EDSs) for checked and checkpoint baggage applications. Our systems generate 3-D Continuous-Flow volumetric images of the entire contents of a bag or parcel to better ensure all threats are detected.
