Direct Digital Mammography Detectors

Digital Radiography Systems, Digital Tomosynthesis - Analogic

Analogic has been providing digital radiography (DR) systems for more than a decade. Initially focused on DR for general radiography, we have quickly become a leader in digital mammography that uses direct digital detector technology.

Our ANRAD subsidiary, located in Montreal, Canada, develops and manufactures flat-panel, direct digital detector plates used in mammography systems that are manufactured by major medical OEMs. These plates capture image data directly onto a patented detector made with a layer of amorphous Selenium deposited onto a thin-film transistor array.

ANRAD’s amorphous Selenium technology enables the highest quality radiographic images available and faster patient throughput.

Tomosynthesis Ready Technology

Digital Tomosynthesis Ready Technology

ANRAD’s detector technology enables digital tomosynthesis where multiple scans are taken across the breast from one side to the other at different angles. The scans are reconstructed to form a 3-D image for improved reading accuracy and reduced false positives.
