Analogic Corporation Appoints John P. O’Connor Vice President of Engineering

PEABODY, MA (November 27, 2007) – Jim Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of Analogic Corporation (NASDAQ: ALOG), announced today that he has appointed John P. O’Connor Vice President of Engineering effective November 28, 2007, reporting directly to him.

Prior to joining Analogic, Mr. O’Connor was General Manager of Endovations, a division of Boston Scientific Corporation. Among his responsibilities at Endovations was leading a program to develop the industry’s first single-use endoscopic system with state-of-the-art imaging, robotics, software controls, and graphical user interface. Previously, Mr. O’Connor had been Director of Marketing for Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, and Director and Vice President of Engineering for GENUS, Inc.

Mr. O’Connor’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, and a M. Phil. and Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University.
