Analogic Corporation Appoints Douglas B. Rosenfeld
Vice President of Human Resources

PEABODY, MA (July 17, 2007) – Jim Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of Analogic Corporation (NASDAQ: ALOG), announced today that he has appointed Douglas B. Rosenfeld Vice President of Human Resources effective immediately, reporting directly to him.

Prior to joining Analogic, Mr. Rosenfeld was Human Resources Director for the California Region of Quest Diagnostics. Before that, he was Director of Compensation and Performance Management for Quest at its corporate headquarters. Doug has extensive experience in compensation and performance management, including service as Vice President, Compensation, for Goldman Sachs. At Mercer Human Resources Consulting, Mr. Rosenfeld was Principal of its Sales Effectiveness and Executive Compensation Practices, managing a variety of consulting projects for senior management and boards of directors of corporate clients.

Mr. Rosenfeld’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rutgers College, and an MBA in Finance/Accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
