Analogic Corporation Announces Appointment of Peter Cempellin as
Vice President & General Manager of Security Systems Division
PEABODY, MA (November 30, 2007) Jim Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of Analogic Corporation (NASDAQ: ALOG), announced today that Peter Cempellin will join the Company as Vice President and General Manager of the Security Systems Division on Monday, December 3, 2007.
Since 2004, Mr. Cempellin has been General Manager in charge of Nuclear Medicine for Philips Medical Systems, based in Cleveland Ohio, where his responsibilities included Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) and Positron Emission Tomography/Magnetic Resonance Imaging (PET/MRI). Prior to his service with Philips, Peter was Vice President and General Manager for BEI Technologies, Inc., of Concord, California, a manufacturer of MEMS-technology sensors, motors, and encoders used in medical scanners, ultrasound systems, and surgical instruments. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Engineering for the Security Systems Division of KEY Components, LLC., and Business Unit Manager for Stoneridge Corporation, a supplier of electronic equipment and software for the medical and automotive industries.
Cempellin holds a Master in Business Administration from the Boston University School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
