Analogic Corporation Announces Investor Conference Call to Discuss Earnings
for the First Quarter, Fiscal 2005, and Restated Earnings for Fiscal 2002, 2003, and 2004

PEABODY, MA (January 27, 2005) – Analogic Corporation (NASDAQ: ALOGE) today announced that it will conduct an investor conference call on Monday, January 31, at 4:00 p.m. ET to discuss results for the first quarter ended October 31, 2004 and restated results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended July 31, 2004 and its fiscal years ended July 31, 2002, and 2003. The first quarter FY 05 earnings and restated results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended July 31, 2004, and fiscal years 2002 and 2003 will be released before the market opens on January 31. The conference call will include John Wood, President & CEO; John Millerick, Senior Vice President, CFO & Treasurer; and Alex A. Van Adzin, Vice President & General Counsel. Brief presentations by management will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
