Tucson Orthopaedic Institute Chooses ANEXA as Its
Digital Solution Provider

PEABODY, MASS. (July 28, 2005) – Dennis Runyan, Vice President, Sales and Service of ANEXA Corporation, announced today that Tucson Orthopaedic Institute has chosen ANEXA as its digital solution provider for all its facilities.

ANEXA will supply Tucson Orthopaedic Institute with multi-purpose Direct Radiographic (DR) systems, Computed Radiography (CR) systems, and a total networking and PACS solution, complete with OrthoSelect software, including surgical planning, templating, and spine analysis packages.

John H. Cole, President and CEO of Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, said, “Our goal is to establish Tucson Orthopaedic Institute as one of the leading orthopaedic centers in the country. Our challenge was to outfit each of our centers with the best imaging technology, and to link multiple centers throughout the Greater Tucson area together through a common platform. Choosing ANEXA as our digital solutions partner was a logical decision for us from a business, financial, and technological standpoint. ANEXA is the only company capable of economically providing a complete solution, including superior digital imaging equipment, networking, PACS, and financing.”

“We are pleased to have Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, one of the largest and most prestigious orthopaedic facilities in the country, as our digital imaging partner,” Runyan said. “ANEXA is a leader in digital technology and application development and the only complete digital imaging solution provider in the orthopaedic market. We look forward to working with Tucson Orthopaedic Institute and demonstrating our full range of advanced technology.”

Tucson Orthopaedic Institute features “Centers of Excellence” that focus on specific functions or health concerns, including General Orthopaedics & Fractures; Foot & Ankle Orthopaedics; Hand & Upper Extremity; Joint Replacement; Orthopaedic Oncology; Pediatric Orthopaedics; Spine Center; and Sports Medicine.
