Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic Choose ANEXA Digital Radiography Systems
PEABODY, MASS. (June 23, 2005) Dennis Runyan, Vice President, Sales and Service, of ANEXA Corporation, announced today that Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic have chosen ANEXA as their partner in Digital Radiography (DR).
Runyan said, We are pleased that these well known orthopedic institutions have selected ANEXAs DR systems. Each facility has highly experienced staff members with expertise in a wide range of orthopedic subspecialties, allowing them to provide their patients with leading edge, comprehensive care. Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic, and organizations like them, need versatile and flexible DR solutions that perform under a wide variety of conditions and under challenging circumstances. ANEXAs sophisticated DR equipment and application software are designed with the needs of these customers in mind.
Florida Orthopaedic Institute has placed an order for the SyneRadTM OMNI, ANEXAs most advanced complete direct digital radiography system. Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic has an ANEXA DR system already installed.
Partnering with ANEXA gives us access to a technologically advanced system that uses Selenium2 direct digital technology, said Patricia Salvo, Director of Clinic Services for Florida Orthopaedic Institute. The flexibility of the detector removes workflow impediments found in most other DR devices, and the positioning accessories are ideal for examining patients with limited mobility. The system maneuvers easily and is simple to learn and use.
Martin Shipman, CEO of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic, said, Implementing a complete direct digital radiography system into our practice was an important business decision for us, so we looked carefully at our options, considering image quality, ease of use, and return on investment. ANEXAs system uses advanced IMAGIC imaging software, which allows our clinicians to take highly accurate digital measurements. Our staff was truly impressed with the quality of the images and the speed with which those images were produced.
The Florida Orthopaedic Institute, with 7 offices throughout the greater Tampa area, has over 400 staff members including 25 board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeons. Its physicians and surgeons have expertise in the complete range of orthopedic subspecialties.
Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic encompasses a number of medical units, including the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic, Tallahassee Outpatient Surgical Center, TOC MRI and TOC - Division Orthotics and Prosthetics. They also have three satellite offices, one in South Georgia and two others in Florida.
