Analogic Corporation Establishes ANEXA Financial Services Subsidiary

PEABODY, MASS. (August 9, 2005) – Analogic Corporation (NASDAQ: ALOG) today announced the formation of ANEXA Financial Services, Inc., a subsidiary created specifically to provide flexible financing options to customers who wish to purchase digital imaging equipment from ANEXA Corporation.

Established to address the growing demand for ANEXA’s integrated imaging solutions, the new subsidiary will enable ANEXA to offer competitive financial solutions to customers who want to take advantage of its leading technology. John Wood, President and CEO of Analogic, said, “Analogic is pleased to use its available cash resources to make it easier for medical organizations to invest in complete digital imaging solutions. We want to put ANEXA’s next-generation digital imaging equipment in the hands of any medical facility that wants to embrace this technology to better serve its patients.” ANEXA Corporation was established as an Analogic subsidiary in 2003 to market next-generation digital imaging equipment directly to end users in select niche markets such as orthopedic and trauma centers.
