In this newly established capacity Harris will develop and direct Analogic’s strategic direction in its expanding security systems business as the Company seeks to ensure its growth as “The World Resource for Health and Security Technology.”

Mr. Harris brings to Analogic considerable senior-level management experience, most recently as President & CEO of Rapor, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated security portals. John Wood noted, “We are pleased to have an industry leader with Peter’s vision and experience return to Analogic. He knows the industry well, is comfortable with the major players, and will make a difference for us in ensuring long-term growth in this critical sector of our business.”

Harris added, “Analogic is becoming better known in the security arena, and enjoys an excellent relationship with a number of government agencies. I believe that the Company is poised for substantial growth, given the already successful deployment of its advanced Computed Tomography (CT) technology in airports around the world and the opportunities for its associated technologies.”

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Harris attained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserves as an aviator. He also earned a Master’s Degree in National Security from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Analogic Corporation is a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced health and security systems and subsystems sold primarily to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
