LIFEGARD I – Portable Patient Monitors

LIFEGARD® I Patient Monitors are very affordable, compact, general-purpose devices, optimized for low-acuity care areas and patient transport. Simple to use and easy to read, they feature a 5-inch color screen for crisp, bright easy-to-read numerics and waveforms highly visible from virtually anywhere in the room.

LIFEGARD I Monitors Provide a Comprehensive Set of Non-invasive Parameters:

• ECG – 3-lead acquisition with pacemaker detection
• Heart Rate – Detected via ECG, SpO₂, or NIBP
• Pulse Oximetry – Nellcor® technology with selectable response modes
• Non-invasive Blood Pressure – spot check, interval, and stat modes supported by an indicator for elapsed time since last measurement
• Temperature – Electronic Predictive Thermometry, Welch Allyn SureTemp™

Geared for use as a transport monitor, these compact monitors weigh less than 5 lbs ( 2.1 kg ), have unique carrying handles, and a four-hour battery capacity that keeps the monitor fully operational during longer transport situations. For more typical usage, optional roll stands are also available.

Operation is simplistic and intuitive. LIFEGARD I monitors require minimal self training and are versatile enough to be used as either a spot-check monitor ( stat monitor ) or continuous vital signs monitor - color-coded alarms immediately alert the user to any critical events, and “Auto-Set” Alarm Limits adapt quickly to the patient’s current vital sign situation.

Documentation is quickly accessible. An optional strip chart printer provides high-resolution waveform documentation with time, date and all numeric values.
