Fred B. Parks
President and Chief Executive Officer
Fred has served on Analogic’s Board of Directors since 2007 as the company transitioned into a market leading, growth oriented medical technology company. Prior to joining Analogic, he served as the executive chairman and chief executive officer of Enovate Medical since 2015. He previously served as chief executive officer and director of NDS Surgical Imaging, Inc., a provider of advanced medical visualization technology, from 2011 to 2013. Fred was also chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Urologix, Inc. from 2003 to 2008. Prior to joining Urologix, Fred served as president and chief executive officer of Marconi Medical Systems, a provider of advanced CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine imaging equipment, and following its acquisition by Royal Philips Electronics in 2001, led its integration into the Philips medical business. Previously, Fred held positions as president, chief operating officer, and board member of St. Jude Medical, Inc., a medical device company focusing on implantable cardiovascular products, and as president, chief operating officer, and board member of EG&G, Inc. (now PerkinElmer), a diversified technology company.
Fred earned a BS in mechanical engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla, an MS in mechanical engineering from University of Arizona, and a PhD in mechanical engineering from University of Missouri.
Vice President and Corporate Controller
Before joining Analogic in 2014, Mike held a number of key financial leadership roles in both private and public multinational companies, most recently as vice president of finance and corporate controller at Axcelis Technologies. Before then he was director of corporate accounting at Charles River Laboratories. Earlier in his career, Mike held various positions of increasing responsibility in the audit practice at Ernst & Young, LLP. A certified public accountant, Mike holds a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Bentley University.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Ultrasound Business
Before joining Analogic in 2010, Shalabh held key leadership roles over a 15-year career with Philips Healthcare, most recently as general manager of the MR Patient Monitoring Group based in Orlando, Florida. Shalabh earned a masters in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
Vice President, Chief Marketing and Scientific Officer
Jacques joined Analogic in 2014. Prior to that he was CEO of the company he founded, Coumans Care LLC, a thought leader and provider of patient-centric suites. Before that he was CMO of GE Healthcare's Global Magnetic Resonance business. He also held the position of CMO of Philips Global Magnetic Resonance Business. Jacques is a physicist by training. He received his PhD from Carola-Wilhelmina University in Braunschweig, Germany, and an MSc degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Medical Imaging Business
Mervat joined Analogic in 2005 as vice president of operations for ANRAD Corporation. In 2006 she was named the company’s president. Prior to joining ANRAD, Mervat served as president and CEO of ITF Optical Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of advanced photonics solutions. Mervat holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry/physics from the American University in Cairo.
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer
Mark joined Analogic in 2015. Before then, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer for AngioDynamics, a leading provider of medical, surgical, and diagnostic devices used for vascular access and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, and for use in oncology and surgical settings. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of administration and chief financial officer of Albany Molecular Research Incorporated, a global provider of contract research and manufacturing services to biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Before joining AMRI in 2004, Mark held various financial roles at Smith+Nephew and General Electric, both domestically and internationally. Mark received a bachelor of arts degree in international relations/economics from Colgate University.
John J. Fry
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary
John joined the Company in 2007. Before coming to Analogic, he was a principal at the law firm of Driggs, Hogg, & Fry Co., L.P.A. Before that, he was senior corporate counsel and intellectual property manager for Philips Medical Systems. John received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and both graduate and undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is a named inventor on 10 U.S. patents.
Vice President, Global Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance
Joyce joined the Company in 2012. Before coming to Analogic, she was vice president of processes, quality and regulatory affairs at Draeger Medical Systems. Prior to that, Joyce was senior director of regulatory affairs and quality at Philips Medical Systems. She received a master of science degree in osteomicrobiology/vertebrate physiology from John Carroll University, and a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Cleveland State University.
Vice President of Advanced Healthcare Technologies
Farley is the founder and former president of Sound Technology, located in State College, Pennsylvania. At Sound Technology he also held the positions of vice president of operations and director of engineering. Before then, Farley worked for Echo Ultrasound. He received a bachelor of science degree in science, with a focus on medical ultrasound, from Penn State University, and completed coursework there for a masters of science degree in bioengineering with a focus on medical ultrasound.
Douglas B. Rosenfeld
Vice President, Global Human Resources and Administration
Doug joined Analogic in 2007. Before then, he held various human resources positions with Quest Diagnostics. Prior to Quest, he was vice president of compensation for Goldman Sachs. Before beginning his corporate HR career, Doug was a management consultant specializing in executive and sales compensation and he was a principal with Mercer Consulting. Doug has a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Rutgers College and an MBA in finance/accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Security Systems, Medical Imaging Technologies, and Global Operations
Jim joined Analogic in 2008. Jim came to Analogic from Booz & Company, a leading global management consulting firm, where he served in the Operations Strategy Group for over eight years. Prior to Booz & Co, Jim worked for Ingersoll-Rand in both manufacturing and advanced engineering capacities. Jim’s education includes a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Lehigh University, a master of science degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from MIT.
Vice President and General Manager, MRI Subsystems
Yash joined Analogic in 2009. Prior to that, he was an engagement manager at Booz and Company, a leading management consulting company. Work at Booz included multiple strategic consulting projects in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, growth, and organization and operations strategy across multiple industries. Yash has a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkley.
