James W. Green President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Green joined Analogic in 2007. Before joining the Company, Jim was regional vice president for Quest Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic testing, information, and services. Before that, he was senior vice president and general manager of computed tomography for Philips Medical Systems. Prior to Philips, Jim was senior vice president, product development, at Marconi Medical, which was acquired by Philips Medical in 2001. Jim earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri and a master of science degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California. |

Michael L. Levitz Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and TreasurerMike joined Analogic in 2009. Previously he was vice president and controller of Hologic Inc.’s Cytyc business and before then vice president and corporate controller of Cytyc Corporation. Prior to that he served as controller of NEON Communications, Inc. and was audit manager in the high technology practice at Arthur Andersen LLP. A certified public accountant, Mike graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts degree in business economics, with an emphasis in accounting. |

John J. Fry Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporation Secretary John joined the Company in 2007. Before coming to Analogic, he was a principal at the law firm of Driggs, Hogg, & Fry Co., L.P.A. Before that, he was senior corporate counsel and intellectual property manager for Philips Medical Systems. John received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and both graduate and undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is a named inventor on 10 U.S. patents. |

Peter M. Howard Senior Vice President and General Manager, OEM Medical GroupPeter joined Analogic in 2003. Before joining the Company, he was a roving president, founder, and board member for several of Thermo Electron Corporation’s subsidiaries. Prior to that, Peter was founder and president of two joint venture companies within the Mitsubishi Group, which were eventually taken public on the Singapore and European exchanges. Peter has a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and a bachelor of arts degree in comparative literature, both from the University of Massachusetts, as well as a master of science degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. |

Donald B. Melson Vice President and Corporate ControllerDon joined Analogic in 2006. Before then he was vice president and corporate controller of Millipore Corporation, a leading bioprocess and bioscience products and services company. Prior to that, he served with W. R. Grace for a number of years in several financial management positions. Michael Brock President, BK Medical SubsidiaryMichael joined Brüel & Kjær, the original parent company of BK Medical, in 1979 where he led global sales and eventually became president of the Sound & Vibration Division representing 80% of the company’s revenue. He left Brüel & Kjær in 1995 to become CEO of GN Otometrics A/S during which time the company became established as the global leader in the audiological measuring equipment market. In 2004, Michael returned to BK as president of BK Medical, a subsidiary of Analogic. He holds a master of science degree in electronic engineering, acoustics, from the Technical University of Denmark. |

Peter Cempellin Vice President and General Manager, Security Systems DivisionPeter Cempellin joined the Company in 2007. Before then, Peter was general manager in charge of nuclear medicine for Philips Medical Systems. He has a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from the Boston University School of Management. |

James Da Costa Vice President, Corporate Business DevelopmentJim Da Costa joined Analogic in 2004. Jim has spent the majority of his career buying and selling both U.S. and Europe-based companies, first for Lifetech Capital, a corporation he founded in 1990, then as director of corporate development for Thermo Electron, and for Kadant, Inc., a Thermo Electron spin-off, where he was director of corporate development. Jim has an undergraduate mathematics degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and an MBA from Boston College. A graduate of the Massachusetts Military Academy, he also served as first lieutenant in the United States Army. |

Mervat Faltas President, ANRAD SubsidiaryMervat joined ANRAD Corporation, an Analogic subsidiary, in 2005 as vice president of operations. In 2006 she was named the company’s president. Prior to joining ANRAD, Mervat served as president and CEO of ITF Optical Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of advanced photonics solutions. Mervat holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry/physics from the American University in Cairo. |

Sorin Marcovici Vice President, Chief Technology OfficerSorin joined Analogic in 1976 and was the first president of our ANRAD subsidiary. Prior to his appointment as Analogic’s CTO, Sorin served as corporate senior technical vice president. Earlier he was general manager of two of Analogic’s operating divisions. An IEEE Fellow, Sorin was a key contributor to the development of high-speed, analog-to-digital converters; high-precision instrumentation; multi-slice CT data acquisition systems; and solid-state X-ray detectors. He holds six U.S. patents. Sorin has a physicist-engineer degree from the Polytechnic Institute, Bucharest, Romania, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a major in computers from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. |

John P. O’Connor Vice President, Engineering and TechnologyJohn joined the Company in 2007. Before then he was general manager of Endovations, a division of Boston Scientific Corporation, and director of marketing for Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, and a master of philosophy degree and Ph.D. in physics from Yale University. |

Farley Peechatka President and Founder, Sound Technology Subsidiary Farley is the president and founder of Analogic’s Sound Technology (STI) subsidiary, located in State College, Pennsylvania. At STI he also held the positions of vice president of operations and director of engineering. Before STI, Farley worked for Echo Ultrasound. He received a bachelor of science degree in science, with a focus on medical ultrasound, from Penn State University, and completed coursework there for a masters of science degree in bioengineering with a focus on medical ultrasound. |

George Procter Vice President and General Manager, Motion Systems, Copley Controls DivisionGeorge has been with Copley Controls, located in Canton, Massachusetts, since 2000. Before then he was marketing manager, motion products, for Schneider Automation, a subsidiary of Group Schneider, manufacturer of PLCs, motion controllers, servo amplifiers, and motors. George has a bachelor of science degree in electrical and electronic engineering from University of Leeds, England. |

Douglas B. Rosenfeld Vice President, Human ResourcesDoug joined Analogic in 2007. Before then, he held various human resources positions with Quest Diagnostics. Prior to Quest, he was vice president of compensation for Goldman Sachs. Before beginning his corporate HR career, Doug was a management consultant specializing in executive and sales compensation and he was a principal with Mercer Consulting. Doug has a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Rutgers College and an MBA in finance/accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. |

Jim Ryan Vice President, Global OperationsJim joined Analogic in 2008. Jim came to Analogic from Booz & Company, a leading global management consulting firm, where he served in the Operations Strategy Group for over eight years. Prior to Booz & Co, Jim worked for Ingersoll-Rand in both manufacturing and advanced engineering capacities. Jim’s education includes a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Lehigh University, a master of science degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from MIT. |

Matthew Theiler Vice President, Global Sales and Service Matt joined Analogic in 2009. Before then, he held key sales and marketing leadership roles in the healthcare industry, most recently at Abbott Laboratories, where he served as the general manager of sales for Abbott's Integrated Managed Healthcare unit. Prior to his role with Abbott, Matt was the vice president of sales for the East and New York/New Jersey regions for Quest Diagnostics, the nation's largest clinical laboratory services company. Prior to working for Quest Diagnostics, Matt spent 10 years at Abbott Laboratories in various account executive, district sales management, product management, and marketing management roles. Matt has a bachelor of science degree and an MBA in marketing from The Ohio State University. |

Eric Zanin Vice President, Business DevelopmentBefore joining Analogic in 2007, Eric spent 13 years at Parlex Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of flexible interconnect products, where he served as vice president and general manager of the Automotive and Industrial Business Unit.
