Products That Touch the Lives of People Everywhere

If you’ve ever had an MRI or CT scan, there’s a good chance that the equipment used for your tests was built with an Analogic subsystem. If you’ve traveled by air in the United States, your baggage was likely screened by an explosives detection system built by Analogic.

Our customers are some of the world’s largest and best-known medical imaging companies. Others are promising new start-ups, working on groundbreaking technology. Our security imaging equipment is used in airports around the globe to scan luggage for explosives and other potential threats that could bring down an airplane.

A Company Built on Innovation

Founded in 1967 by Bernie Gordon, Analogic is known for solving the most difficult engineering problems through innovation. We developed the instant imaging computed tomography scanner in 1975 and quickly evolved into a leading developer of advanced subsystems for medical imaging. Over a decade ago, we developed the world’s first dual-energy, helical, multi-slice, CT scanning system for aviation security. Today, these explosives detection systems are installed in airports in 26 countries.
